OK! - mine has just arrived so I will give you my first impressions: plastic/polymer - very nice smooth finish very sturdy with no creaks and minimal flex (under quite a firm load) Steel parts list: Flash hider, Magazine outer shell, safety lever, body takedown lever, top cover, trigger guard, magazine catch, faux gas piston assembly, front and rear handguard mounts, handguard takedown lever, stock sling pin and butt plate. Aluminium and pot metal everything else - first look suggests CNC Aluminium body and probably aluminium outer barrel and gas block and fore sight and rear sight castings - internalls nearly 100% sure it's the usual cottage cheese! Body/castings: very well finished indeed inc nice paint job although this is probably very thin! Nice hard rubber detatchable cheek rest for using russian optics.
To be honest, ignoring the fact that the plastic furniture is incorrect in appearence and that at some point a Ra Tech CNC steel trigger group will be a required upgrade it seems to be a fair gun for a fair price and if it shoots as well (or hopefully better) as my M14 it will be a cracking DMR.
I will try and get it out to somewhere I can give it a proper workout range wise - can't chrono it as I don't yet have one. Camo tapeing mine up now ready for next game! Almost forgot! - no markings so either do without or get your own engraved (so no complaints about incorrect logo e.t.c )
