No you don't have to The WE AWSS KAC PDW will take both 'dedicated' PDW mag and the regular M4/M16 mags (CO2 & green gas).

Will it be possible to somewhat "convert" our old M4 magazines to PDW (like with interchangeable shells)? It would be pretty neat for us early customers...

My contact in TW said unknown, but before Xmas. I just did a text search on every page and the only reference to the word "month" was Buckshot saying he hadn't posted here in months. No reference to Septemebr at all. Dude, thats big news...not ripping on you here...but no.....theres no mention of an ETA in this thread that I have found.

I have heard the price will be similar to the M4.

I usually talk directly to the WETTI and the guys at the WE factory every couple days and from what they tell me their current production schedule is for WE to release the PDW by next month. I'll ask for more info and even try to get them more involved in this thread but I've got a few other cool things keeping me busy right now.

Here's links to where I mentioned a release date. I only mentioned it twice and I stated "a few weeks" so that's probably why it didn't come up during searches. Sorry about that.

I remember you also said years ago when first Koba M4 prototype was newsed on classicairsoft forum "gas-in-mags gas guns will NEVER work because of cooldown..."
